Overall OK OK
I purchased this phone a month ago, during SC 10% cash
back offer, till date not found any issues with phone , overall decent phone in
this price range. Body of phone can be made better, it looks very cheap quality
plastic body similar to china made phone, so better to go with some decent flip
cover.
Also, till date I had not received the cashback, so don't know how genuine are these offers which ******* made for Cashback. Bcoz of cashback only I purchased from ******* else I was getting same phone from on different site at somewhat 300 bucks lesser.

bakwas service from micromax service center 3
times went to service center for diff problem
I purchase this mobile in august 2013. it always hanging
lot. once a day it get dead so i went to service center. problem solved of dead
but giving me another problem sim 2 is not working. before this I never face
this problem. service center person told we don't have this part right now it
will be come 45 days. so I again go to another service center, and submit phone
for 15 days. after sim to is work but power key got problem like same before
first service center happen with me. so I told the person before this problem
never come, He told come 5 days leter I will sort out the problem. I very dis
pointed to buy micromax mobile. for there faltu and CHOR(theft) service
centers. In future life I never buy this company Product again.
Worst service by micromax.Dnt even think of
taking it
Service from micromax is really worst.U give ur mobile
for service and u will get the mobile after a month and that too problem not
rectified.Frankly speakning ,I bought the A116 from ******* now really
suffering alot with display problem.I have given it to service center at
ameerpet,Hyderabad 3 or 4 times.Today also my phone is at service center.When u
submit ur phone they just ask u to "wait for our message to ur mobile
number.when it comes collect it from our service."Out of ur curiosity if u
ask for how many days it takes and for formalty they say u a week....but a
minimum of 20 days will take....Just saying u one thing if a problem arrives
...for micromax..just throw it in dustbin...
Best phone in its price
This is my 2nd Micromax smartphone. No problems faced at
all with the previous and still working A110.
A116 is very sleek phone, and also Android version is latest. Got this delivered 1 day in advance from what ******* had commited.. awesome service.

From HTC Desire HD to Micromax Canvas HD
I ordered it from ******* by paying 13699 though it was
available at 12999 on ebay. Item was delivered very quickly as expected.
Pros:
1. Amazing performance
2. Jellybean is a magic.
3. Very slim and good form factor.
4. Available in full black (front and back).
5. 2000 mAh is just sufficient to power the quad core processor and light up 5" display.
Cons:
1. Build quality is not up to the mark.
2. Screen color reproduction is not that great.
3. Display sometimes feels flickering (very rare).
4. I heard that Warranty and Service of Micromax is pathetic.
If you are looking for a android phone somewhere between 12k to 13k canvas HD is the phone.

1. Amazing performance

Pros -
- Good Product.
- Versatile in terms of software. I have used various custom firmwares on this mobile. It is virtually impossible to brick this device
- Stable, good battery backup
- Awesome display and features
Cons -
- After Sales Support from MMX sucks
- No / Few Authorised Service Centres / Shops from MMX and I stay in Bangalore
- Fit and Finish can be improved
- Not very serviceable
- Good Product.

Way better than i expected!
Firstly i bought this phone just as a temporary phone
till i could find a better one. The price being about 13500 sounded like a good
buy.
But after i received the phone i was pleasantly surprised, it looked and worked way better than i thought.
My experience after using the phone for about 2 months.
Pros:
1. Great looks
2. Light Weight
3. Super fast ( Quad core processor and 1gb ram)
4. Dual Sim
5. Good Battery Life ( Lasts 1 full day with 3g usage using one sim, have not tested the battery with two sims)
6. Expandable memory to 32gb ( I use a 16gb memory card with no lag at all)
7. Amazing HD display. Beats the likes of Galaxy grand hands down.
8. Good sound quality and loudness
9. Has a surprisingly good camera. Work a little on the settings and you can will be able to click great pictures and videos.
Cons :
1) 1 gb internal space for installing apps. You can find apps on the play store that move the app to the external memory card. But when you install an app or update an app it is first installed on the internal memory. So if you don't have enough space in the internal memory you will not be able to even update your apps.
This issue might be addressed in the latest android update.
2. The loud speaker during calls is very clear but it could have been slightly louder. Can't really count this as a negative because it could be to also prevent the speakers from getting spoiled.
3.No task manager. You have to individually kill apps. But you can get a task manager app.
All in all it is a brilliant phone. If you can manage with the storage issue then this phone is for you. I'm sure this should be taken care of in the next software update.
